Bangs!

The girls and I took Ella for her 1st trim today. At first, she was happy to sit in the fancy yellow car ... then they put the giant bib on her, and it was down hill from there. For those of you who don't know ... Ella hates bibs. She complained for a while but eventually the Baby Einstein video began to play and she was distracted ... until the scissors came out. Luckily our stylist was fast and before we knew it ... Ella had bangs. Woo Hoo!

Grandma Sheila came to town for a visit and invited us to her daughter's house for an afternoon of swimming and pizza. We got to Jenny's house and walked into the backyard and Ella yelled "WATER, WATER!!" She had never seen a pool before. She loved it!! As did the other kids. Everyone had a super great time. We brought the Slip'N Slide out today ... this time Ella got to play too.
